Sarah Games BSc (Hons) MSc AM

McTimoney Animal Practitioner covering Surrey and West Sussex

I am a fully qualified and insured McTimoney Animal Practitioner. I provide safe and effective treatment for horses, dogs and other small animals throughout Surrey, Kent, Sussex, Hampshire, and London.

I have a Masters degree in Animal Manipulation from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in conjunction with the University of Wales and a BSc (Hons) from the University of Liverpool.   I’m also a member of the British Complementary Medicine Association and the McTimoney Animal Association – the professional body for McTimoney Animal Practitioners, and undertake regular training to keep abreast with changes within the equine, canine and veterinary world.

My Background

I’ve always loved being around animals and caring for them. While I was still at school I worked at a various small animal veterinary practices and stables where I rode a wide selection of horses. I moved onto teaching and bringing horses on for sale.

I currently own two horses, Rupert, an Irish Sports horse and Montosari, an ex racehorse.  Montosari, or Monty to his friends, raced successfully both on the flat and over hurdles with a total of 55 starts before he broke down with a suspensory injury.  While he returned to racing, he never fully recovered and his owner decided to sell him on.  When he arrived, Monty was tight and sore through the whole of his back and neck and struggling to stay sound. However after rest, McTimoney manipulation and soft-tissue work, rehabilitative groundwork and good shoeing, he was eventually well enough to be re-schooled.  He’s now happily settled into his new life and enjoys dressage, hacking, jumping and most importantly, being the centre of attention!

I also have a dog called Enzo who is a bit of a Heinz 57. He was found as a stray in Southern Ireland and brought over to the UK to be re-homed.  He’s needed a lot of re-training and help to gain his confidence, but he’s making good progress and has been an interesting project.
